Dear child,

How wonderful it is to share life on earth with you! Your place is unique. No-one can replace you. No matter the circumstances around your birth, you are not an accident. You were created in love.

In this life many people will hurt you. Some intentionally, but most unknowingly. Much of the pain that is caused, will be from people’s own hurt. Your parents or caretakers will wound you in some way, without them meaning to. Live lightly, forgive easily – you will also need others to forgive you often. Become aware of your pain, and much of your actions and decisions will make sense.

You have so much to learn in life. And unlearn. Along your path you will learn from many. Decide whose advice you will make your own. Do not just listen to their words, look at the fruit their lives. At the centre of your journey is the task of learning who you are, and letting go of who you are not. Rest in the knowledge that you are the Beloved. You do no have to earn it,or proof it. It is given. You only have to receive.

Life is a big, wild adventure. Laugh often. Cry when you need to. Love deeply.
